Wade Engineering has been producing high grade products in Steel, Iron and non-ferrous metals for over 60 years. These products include machinable castings and specialized engineering components, for both light weight and heavy applications.

Wade's new Foundry Floor

With a purpose built foundry and moulding facility, we are able to produce castings to our customer's requirements. Specialising in short runs, we cast up to 700kg gross weight.

Using a process known as Induction Melting, we are capable of, but not limited to, the following metal production:

Ferrous:-

Grey Cast Iron	Steels (Mild and Alloy)
S.G. Iron	Stainless Steels
Ni-Hard Iron	Ni-Resist Iron

Non-Ferrous:-

Bronzes
Aluminium Alloys
Brasses

Non-Ferrous alloys can be supplied in most standard grades suitable for the production of impellors, propellors, bearings and bushes, marine fittings etc.

Moulding System:-

Chemical set hard sand moulding system giving excellent surface definition and dimensional accuracy to any required product.
Testing and Certification:-

Wade Engineering utilizes industry leading technology to obtain in-house metal verification at molten stage prior to pouring. Independent verification may then be confirmed by metallurgical analysis and certification as required.

Heat Treatment Facility:-

Casting normalizing, annealing and stress relieving is conducted to customer requirements.
Patternmaking & Drawing:-

To provide our customers with a complete service, we can provide full patternmaking and casting/machining design from a product sample or previous drawings.
